Myra Fay Pratt
Myra Pratt of Bismarck, Missouri was born on Tuesday, February 28, 1922 in Weingarten, Missouri. A daughter of the late, Cazzie (Hunt) Hardy and Leslie Quince Hardy. Myra departed this life on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, Farmington, Missouri.
Myra was united in marriage to Elmer Pratt on December 23, 1944 in Irondale, Missouri.
Myra is survived by four daughters, Nancy Phillips of Bismarck, Missouri, Mary Ellen Anderson of Bismarck, Missouri, Cheryl Bockenkamp and husband, Bill of Bismarck, Missouri, Susie Bockenkamp and husband, Charles of Bismarck, Missouri; five sons, Leslie Barton of Iron Mountain Lake, Missouri, Robert Pratt of Bismarck, Missouri, Charles Pratt of Bismarck, Missouri, Darrell Pratt and wife, Sandra of Bismarck, Missouri, Billy Pratt and wife, Laura of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one brother, Heber Hardy of Potosi, Missouri; thirty grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Betty Hardy of Irondale, Missouri, Betty Hardy of Bismarck, Missouri, Alice Hardy of Ironton, Missouri and many other relatives and friends. Myra was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer Pratt, two sisters, Bessie Lore and Infant Lucille Hardy, five brothers, Ched Hardy, Robert Hardy, Paul Hardy, Jack Hardy and Infant Georgie Hardy.
Myra enjoyed life and its many beautiful gifts. She loved listening to music and going shopping. Myra loved flowers and spending time with her family and friends, who will greatly miss her.
Visitation was held Friday, March 19, 2010 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Irondale, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Irondale, Missouri with Pastor Mike Barton officiating. Serving as Pallbearers were Buster Phillips, Larry Inman, Bart Blann, Bubba Inman, Donnie Pratt and Johnnie Anderson.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Hopewell Cemetery, Mineral Point, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 104 Oak Street, Irondale, Missouri.
