Dolores Puleo
Dolores Puleo of Potosi, Missouri was born Saturday, September 24, 1932 in Pinckneyville, Illinois a daughter of the late Bessie Ann (Galbraith) Sheridan and John David Sheridan. Dolores departed this life at her home Sunday, June 6, 2004 at the age of Seventy-one Years, Eight Months and Twelve Days.
Dolores was united in marriage to Peter Anthony “Pete” Puleo September 25, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri. They were blessed to have two children born to the union. Pete preceded his wife in death on June 16, 1993.
Dolores is survived by her daughter Michele Mueller and husband Michael Mueller of Imperial, Missouri; son, Michael A. Puleo and wife Lisa K. Puleo of Cadet, Missouri; sister, Norma Morgan of Fenton, Missouri; Six grandchildren, Anthony Joseph Puleo and Ashley Nicole Puleo both of Farmington, Missouri, Alyssa Puleo and Jordan Civey both of Cadet, Missouri, Phil Christopher and Jessica Christopher both of Imperial, Missouri; Fiancé Vernon Kirchner of Potosi, Missouri and by many other relatives and friends.
Dolores enjoyed dancing, she was always ready to go hear the music, see her many friends and enjoy the evening. She was always ready to travel to a casino, she did not worry about the winning or losing, she loved the thrill of just being there. Dolores enjoyed traveling around seeing all the area and the great beauty of the ozarks and surrounding area.
Dolores had a great love for her family and friends. She enjoyed when any of them would stop by for a visit or take a moment and call. She always held dear to her heart the visits with her grandchildren. They would always bring a smile to her face.
Visitation was held Monday, June 7, 2004 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, June 8, 2004 from 9:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating. Music was provided by the St. Joachim Catholic Church Choir.
Final Prayers and Burial was in the St. Joachim Catholic Church Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Doyle Kirchner, Vernon D. Kirchner, Phil Christopher, Sr., Robert Avila, Jordan Civey, Anthony Joseph Puleo, Pat Province and Brian Boyer.
Services were entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
