Amanda Nekay Ramsey of Potosi, Missouri was born in Farmington, Missouri on Saturday, December 24, 1983. Amanda was the daughter of Mary and Rocky Goodson and Gary and Theresa Ramsey. Amanda departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of twenty-one years, ten months and two days.
Amanda is survived by mother, Mary Goodson and husband Rocky of Potosi, Missouri, father, Gary Ramsey and wife Theresa of Greenridge, Missouri, son, Dalton Ramsey of Potosi, Missouri, sister, Abigail Goodson of Potosi, Missouri, Grandparents, John and Winona Goodson of Potosi, Missouri, Verna Thebeau of Cadet, Missouri, Pat and Grayson Hayden Jr. Of Foristell, Missouri, special friends, Candy Emily of Cadet, Missouri and Kacie Shepard of Potosi, Missouri and by many other dear and special relatives and friends. Amanda was preceded in death by brother, Dylan Goodson.
Amanda had a great love for her baby, Dalton and the time they shared together was a glorious time in her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as often as possible. Amanda had accepted Christ as her Savior and attended the Glory Hill Church in Potosi, Missouri. She graduated from Potosi Senior High School in May 2002. She had a great love for people and enjoyed helping and talking with all. She was employed by the Casey General Store in Green Ridge. Amanda will be very deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Visitation was held Sunday, October 30, 2005 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday, October 31, 2005 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 31, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Reverend Tom Slovensky officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial was held Monday, October 31, 2005 at 12:15 PM at the Grassy Hollow Cemetery, Shirley, Missouri.
Services were entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, Missouri.
