Hazel Irene Rand (Brewer)

Hazel Irene (Brewer) Rand of Mineral Point, Missouri was born August 25, 1932 in Lesterville, Missouri, a daughter to the late John Brewer and Virginia (Lucy) Brewer. Hazel departed this life Thursday, December 3, 2020 having reached the age of 88 years, 3 months and 8 days.
On July 24, 1993, Hazel was united in marriage to the late Charles Rand and together they shared thirteen wonderful years together. Charles preceded Hazel into heaven June 15, 2007.
Hazel is survived by her daughters, Barbara Blankenship and husband James of Leadwood, Missouri, Kimmy Milliken of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Dawn Ragland of Foley, Missouri, Michael Siekmann of Troy, Missouri; four great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear and special friends.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Hazel was preceded in death by her sisters, Opal Shoults, Leona Becker, Jetty Benson; brothers, Odis Brewer, Bill Brewer, Jim Brewer, Winford Brewer and Roland Brewer.
Hazel was always on the go and did not like to sit still. She spent most of her time outside taking care of her home, pets and taking long walks. She always took time to help others in need. She loved to play her guitar, sing and spend time with her friends and family. Her memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
