Glenda Madeline (Wall) Reando
Glenda (Wall) Reando was born on October 30, 1936 in Cadet, Missouri a daughter of the late Helen Lou (Aly) Wall and George Edward Wall, Sr. Glenda departed this life on March 23, 2007 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of seventy years four months and twenty-three days.
Glenda was united in marriage to Chester Phillip Reando on September 3, 1955 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, St. Louis, Missouri.
Glenda is survived by one daughter, Cindy Reando-Coughlin and husband David of Maplewood, Missouri; three sons, Mark Phillip Reando, Jeffrey Newton Reando, Andrew George Reando; one brother, George Edward Wall, Jr. of DeSoto, Missouri; nine sisters, Joyce Christopher of Cadet, Missouri, George Ann Cash and husband Roy of St. Louis, Missouri, Rebecca Queen and husband Ron of Festus, Missouri, Margaret Peters and husband Ron of Festus, Missouri, Kathleen Kinnison and husband Dale of Bloomsdale, Missouri, Sharon “Blossom” Sansoucie and husband Ken of Cadet, Missouri, Melony Wall of St. Louis, Missouri, Helen Benson of Bonne Terre, Missouri and Judy Warren of St. Louis, Missouri; three grandchildren, Nicole Panter and husband Mark of Corning, Arkansas, Joshua Hicks of Maplewood, Missouri, April Reando of St. Louis, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Bailey Nicole Panter of Corning, Arkansas, Britney Jolean Panter of Corning, Arkansas; beloved longtime very good family friends, Laura Murphy of St. Louis, Missouri, Charlotte Pack of St. Louis, Missouri. In addition to her parents Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Chester Phillip Reando on February 23, 1988, one brother, Timothy Joseph Wall and one sister, Dorothy Elaine Portell.
Glenda enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her younger years Glenda loved traveling with her mother. Glenda also enjoyed keeping her hair and nails in beautiful condition. Reading novels and magazines and flower gardening in the Spring brought her great joy. She liked to make ceramics, play bingo, poker and watching movies while enjoying sweets. Glenda will be very deeply missed by all of her loved ones.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Monsignor James Hanson officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
