MARY REDD
MARY CATHERINE REDD OF DOE RUN MISSOURI, WAS BORN AUGUST 6, 1927 IN FOUNTAIN FARM, MISSOURI. A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE LAWRENCE AND MARY TROKEY (POLITTE). MARY DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON SEPTEMBER 21, 1999 AT HER RESIDENCE IN DOE RUN AT THE AGE OF SEVENTY TWO YEARS, ONE MONTH AND FIFTEEN DAYS.
MARY WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO THE LATE CLARENCE HENRY REDD ON JUNE 6, 1945 IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND OF THIS UNION FOUR CHILDREN WERE BORN.
MARY LEAVES TO SURVIVE TWO DAUGHTERS, MARY KELLY OF DOE RUN, MISSOURI, AND SHARON TEAL AND FIANCÉ MIKE MESEY OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI. TWO SONS, DUKE AND WIFE JACKIE REDD OF IMPERIAL, MISSOURI, AND DAKOTA AND WIFE PAM REDD OF ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI. TWO SISTERS, CECILIA TROKEY OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI AND MARGIE AUBUCHON OF POTOSI, MISSOURI. SHE WILL ALSO BE SADLY MISSED BY EIGHTEEN GRANDCHILDREN AND TWENTY ONE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND SPOUSE SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SISTER, THERSIA AMBUEHL AND ONE BROTHER, LINNEUS TROKEY.
MARY RETIRED IN 1996 FROM ST. ANTHONY'S MEDICAL CENTER. MARY ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH HER FAMILY AND SHE TOUCHED EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM IN A SPECIAL WAY. SHE ENJOYED SEWING, EMBROIDERING AND GARDENING. SHE SPENT MUCH ENJOYABLE TIME WITH HER SISTERS CANNING AND BAKING. SHE LOVED TO TRAVEL WHEN TIME PERMITTED. MARY WAS A WONDERFUL AND LOVING AUNT TO ALL OF HER NIECES AND NEPHEWS WHO WERE ALL VERY PRECIOUS TO HER. SHE WAS A KIND AND LOVING WIFE, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, SISTER, AUNT AND FRIEND WHO WILL BE SO VERY SADLY MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW AND LOVED HER.
VISITATION WAS HELD ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 1999, FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 1999 AT ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH IN POTOSI, MISSOURI WITH FATHER GEORGE GAZOVICH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE CALVARY CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, MICHAEL REDD, JOSH REDD, MATT REDD, ZACH REDD, STEVE MORRIS, BRIAN MORRIS, JEFF MORRIS AND CHARLIE TEAL.
