Jessica Reed of Cadet, Missouri was born on March 24, 1983 in Potosi, Missouri and departed this life on July 27, 2008 at her residence having reached the age of twenty-five years, four months and three days.
Jessica was united in marriage to Matthew Reed on November 20, 2002 and this union was blessed with one son, Jacob.
Jessica is survived by her loving husband, Matthew Reed of Cadet, Missouri; son, Jacob Reed of Cadet, Missouri; mother, Venessa Sue Davis of Cadet, Missouri; father who raised her, Edward Sanders of Potosi, Missouri; one brother, Nathan Sanders of Potosi, Missouri; grandmothers, Rebecca Pruitt of Blackwell, Missouri, Shirley Miller of Cadet, Missouri; mother-in-law, Mary Wicker and husband, Larry of Cadet, Missouri; father-in-law, Elmer Reed of Cadet, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Martha Reed of Cadet, Missouri and Tabatha Reed of Cadet, Missouri; also surviving are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jessica was preceded in death by her father, Jim Ward, one sister, Heather Sanders, and grandfather, Lawrence Miller.
Jessica was a graduate of Kingston High School, Cadet, Missouri. She had a great love for animals and was happy with the simple things in life. Jessica enjoyed riding horses and four wheelers with Matthew. She loved visiting with people the more people the happier she was. Jessica also enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics. She loved her family, especially her son, Jacob and the times they spent together. Jessica was wonderful person that will always be remembered for the love and laughter she shared.
Visitation was held Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 5:00 PM and Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Martha Schaefferkoetter officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Dink Dickerson, Jacob Pruitt, Joshua Pruitt, Tony Villmer, Jesse Henry and Jordan Kincaid.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
