Audrey Reichardt of Richwoods, Missouri was born on Tuesday, July 29, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri a daughter of the late, Mayme Anna (Bardol) LaBonte and Harold T. LaBonte. Audrey departed this life on Monday, August 26, 2013 at her residence having reached the age of eighty-nine years and twenty-eight days.
Audrey was united in marriage John W. Reichardt, Sr. on June 21, 1969 in Ellisville, Missouri.
Audrey is survived by two daughters, Sandra Lea Poehlmann of Cahokia, Illinois; Susan Louise Price of Richwoods, Missouri; six stepsons, John W. Reichardt, Jr. of Fenton, Missouri; James Reichardt and wife, Debbie of Hillsboro, Missouri; Steven P. Reichardt and wife, Pam of High Ridge, Missouri; Kenneth R. Reichardt and wife, Peggy of Richwoods, Missouri; Thomas Reichardt and wife, Dorothy of South County, Missouri; Michael Reichardt of South County, Missouri; twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren; also surviving are many many friends, including her puppy, Gracie and feline, Angel. In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, John Reichardt, Sr., one son, Harold O. Poehlmann, step-daughter, Kathy Fry and three grandchildren.
Audrey was a great woman of God; she had a heart for the physical and spiritual needs of the people. She was a Trustee on the Board of Directors, Secretary, Treasurer and Song Leader for the Way of Life Tabernacle since 1990. Audrey founded the Richwoods Food Pantry in 1986 and directed the pantry for twenty-seven years, with the philosophy of “Jesus loves you and so do we”. She was a very dear and special lady of God who will be greatly missed by her family, friends, church and community.
Visitation was held Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri and Friday, August 30, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Way of Life Tabernacle, Richwoods, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Friday, August 30, 2013 at 12:00 PM at the Way of Life Tabernacle, Richwoods, Missouri with Brother Harry Gamble officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Horine Cemetery, Richwoods. Serving as pallbearers were: Charles DeClue, Delmar Elliott, Ronnie Carroll, Wayne Kissee, Joseph Marti Jr. and Greg Marti.
