Rhonda Walton

     Rhonda Walton, a loving and caring woman who devoted her life to serving others, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023, at the age of 83. Rhonda was born on December 18, 1939, in Potosi, Missouri to the late Naomi (Boyd) McGuire and John McGuire.

    Rhonda was best known for her outgoing personality. She always put others first and loved spending time with her family and friends. Rhonda enjoyed baking for her loved ones, gambling, watching Lifetime and soap operas. She also had a passion for cooking, shopping and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.

     Rhonda was preceded in death by her husband Sgt. Ernest Samuel Walton; father John McGuire; mother Naomi McGuire; sisters Ophelia Penny and Mary McGuire; brothers John Othel McGuire, Anthony "Tony" McGuire and Donald McGuire and longtime partner, Gilbert Keaton.

     She is survived by her daughters Wilma Elaine Blanks, Valerie Louise Davis (Benjamin) and Edith Rosalia Walton; sons Lyndell Gene Walton (Valerie), Ernest Samuel Walton Jr.; sister, Pauline Douthit, Glenda McGuire, Helen Blanks (Raymond); brother, Harvey McGuire; grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other friends and relatives.

     Rhonda has touched many lives with her love and kind spirit. Her presence will be forever missed by all those who knew her.
