Robert Butler Jr., known as “B.J.”, passed away on February 7th, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever be remembered. Robert was born on August 23rd, 1984, in Festus, Missouri to his loving parents Hazel Loraine Butler and Robert Edward Butler.
Robert’s passion for landscaping was evident throughout his life and career. He dedicated himself to creating beautiful outdoor spaces for others to enjoy. Robert’s work will continue to inspire and bring joy to the lives of those who had the pleasure of witnessing his craftmanship. Beyond his profession, Robert deeply cherished his time spent with loved ones. Some of his fondest memories included Johnson shut-in trips with his family, where they would explore the great outdoors creating lasting bonds. He also found joy in barbequing for his friends and family. A kind – hearted soul with an infectious smile, B.J. always went out of his way to help others. His compassion knew no bounds, he never ceased to show kindness or gratitude to others.
Robert leaves behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories that will be treasured by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving husband Adam Koch Butler of Cadet, Mo. They shared a deep bond filled with love, support, and countless happy times. Robert is also survived by his devoted parents, Hazel (Rogers) Butler and Robert Butler of Richwoods, Mo; sister April and husband Guy Grgurich, of Union, Mo; brother Kevin Rogers and wife Jennifer of Mineral Point, Mo; brother David Neal and wife Carletta of Gerald, Mo; brother Kristopher Butler Sr. and wife Heather of Richwoods, Mo.; mother and father-in law Pat and Joe Koch of Cadet, Mo; and by many other dear and special relatives and friends.
The legacy that B.J. leaves behind is one of love, laughter, and compassion. He will always be remembered as a talented landscaper, a loving son and brother, cherishing uncle, loyal friend, and devoted husband. His memory lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to knowing him.
