Rodney Joe Adams, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 68. He was a kind and caring individual who touched the lives of many with his perseverance and hardworking nature.
Born on December 29, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri, Rodney grew up in a loving family. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Clifford Adams, and his mother, Bonnie (Henderson) Adams. Rodney's parents instilled in him values of dedication and resilience that he carried throughout his life.
Rodney had a passion for rebuilding cars and electronics. He found joy in being a skilled mechanic and was always immersed in projects. His enthusiasm for his hobbies inspired those around him to pursue their own interests wholeheartedly.
Beyond his hobbies, Rodney cherished his role as a husband to his beloved wife Cathy Adams. Their love was an example for all who knew them. Together they built a life filled with love and shared experiences.
Rodney's dedication to family extended to his children: Jody Elizabeth Adams, Brian Adams and wife Jamie, Timothy Adams and wife Kaylynn. Watching his children grow and succeed brought him immense happiness and pride.
His role as a grandfather was one that Rodney cherished deeply. He adored his grandchildren: Breann, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Kyren, Amber, Jameson, Maddox, Karigan. Their laughter and presence brought light into his life.
Rodney's sisters-in-law also held a special place in his heart: Billye (Jeffery) Villmer and Renee (Vernan) Graven. The bonds of family were strong with these individuals who shared countless memories together.
Friends will remember Rodney as a loyal companion who could always be relied upon during times of joy or sorrow. He had an unwavering commitment to those he cared about, and his presence would be missed by all.
Rodney will forever be remembered as a dedicated family man who worked tirelessly to provide for his loved ones. His kind and caring nature touched the lives of many. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and perseverance. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
