Louis “Lou” Edward Rolling

Louis “Lou” Rolling of Cadet, Missouri was born on Saturday, November 21, 1936 in Saint Louis, Missouri a son of the late, Susan and Louis Rolling. Lou departed this life on Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of seventy years, eleven months and twelve days.

Lou is survived by three daughters, Melissa Rolling and fiancé, Fran Coleman of Cadet, Missouri, Donna Missey and fiancé, Paul Overton of Cadet, Missouri, Kathy Phares and husband, Paul of Potosi, Missouri; two sons, Garry Galster of Cadet, Missouri, Terry Galster of Cadet, Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Marie Galster of DeSoto, Missouri; nineteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and former wife, Margie Rolling of Cadet, Missouri. In addition to his parents Lou was preceded in death by two sons, Phillip Galster, Paul Galster and one grandson, Donald Robert Galster.

Lou served this country in the United States Army enlisting on December 6, 1956 and receiving an honorable discharge on December 5, 1958.

Lou enjoyed going bowling and fishing. His favorite thing of all was to play poker, lottery and any kind of gambling. Lou also enjoyed watching all types of sports and western shows on T.V. Lou will be very deeply missed by his many loved ones.

Visitation was held Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Deacon Ed Boyer officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Travis Moussette, David (Bam-Bam) Missey, Christopher Moussette, Garry Galster, Jr., Phillip Galster, Jr., Joshua Galster, Chad Galster, Dylan Galster and Zakery Phares.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri, where Lou received full military honors consisting of a firing party, taps, flag folding and presentation.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
