Catherine Ann Roy of Potosi, Missouri was born on Friday, November 19, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri a daughter of the late, Prissie May (Coffman) Missey and Charles Clifford Missey. Catherine departed this life on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of fifty-seven years, ten months and twenty-six days.
Catherine is survived by two sons, Charles Danny Missey and fiancé, Jennifer Blunt of Potosi, Missouri, William Gene Roy of Potosi, Missouri; two stepsons, William “Bill” DeClue of Potosi, Missouri, David Matthew DeClue and wife, Carolyn of Columbus, Kansas; one brother, Jack Lauck and wife, Faye of Richmond, Missouri; grandchildren, Bobbie Missey, Hunter Missey, Alicia Missey, Dalton Missey, Coltyn Missey; step-grandchildren, Ashley DeClue, Chase DeClue, Stacey Sumpter, Shailyn DeClue, Draidyn Tedder, Ashlyn Helvey, Lauryn Helvey, Jacob Boyer, Lucas Morris and Cody Bone; special friend, Michael Bishop of Potosi, Missouri; also surviving are other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her fiancé, William David DeClue and one brother, Ronnie Lee Pruitt.
Catherine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spending time outdoors especially going camping. She loved attending church, watching science fiction movies, sports and collecting dolls. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation was held Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First General Baptist Church, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the First General Baptist Church, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Ardell Gray and Pastor Melvin Crider officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Courtois Cemetery, Berryman, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
