Kevin Rundel of Cadet, Missouri was born on Saturday, December 22, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on Sunday, November 7, 2010 having reached the age of forty-seven years, ten months and sixteen days.
Kevin was united in marriage to Sheila Ann Doss on April 5, 2003 in Branson, Missouri.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Sheila Rundel of Cadet, Missouri; two daughters, Kami Rundel and fiancé, Chase Alfred of Perkins, Oklahoma, Jessica Williams-Dontrich and husband, Larry of DeSoto, Missouri; mother, Frances (Politte) Rundel of Cadet, Missouri; two sisters, Cheryl Jordan and husband, Curtis of Potosi, Missouri; Jennifer “Nickie” Coleman and fiancé, Andy Thornton of Cadet, Missouri; one brother, Timmy Rundel and fiancé, Rhonda Bourbon of Nashville, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Peyton, Trevor and Taylor; also surviving are other relatives and friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Robert Joseph “Taylor” Rundel who passed away July 26, 2010.
Kevin enjoyed being around people especially his family and friends. He loved being outdoors, going camping and hunting always gave him great joy. Kevin worked as a supervisor for Frederic Roofing, but when he wasn’t at work he would always be working building a project and on the go. He also enjoyed having get-togethers with his friends and family, talking and enjoying life.
Visitation was held Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating. Honoring Kevin’s life and serving as Pallbearers were Rick Hollinsworth, Roger Guenther, Larry D. Dontrich, David Courtaway, C.J. Boyer and Andy Kincaid.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
