Mildred Lattie Sansegraw

Mildred L. Sansegraw of Potosi, Missouri was born on Friday, October 4, 1918 in Aptus, Missouri a daughter of the late, Mary Alzno (Higginbotham) Cresswell and the late, Percy Joseph Cresswell. Mildred departed this life on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre, Missouri having reached the age of ninety-two years, eleven months and tens days.
Mildred was united in marriage to Jules Franklin Sansegraw on February 16, 1944 in Flat River, Missouri and this union was blessed with three children.
Mildred is survived by one daughter, Kay Randall and husband, Cody of Potosi, Missouri; two sons, Jerry Sansegraw and wife, Luris of Potosi, Missouri, Dale Sansegraw and wife, Kathy of Potosi, Missouri; one sister, Sally Adams and husband, Amos of Potosi, Missouri; ten grandchildren, David Sansegraw, Doug Sansegraw, Dawn Minson, Billy Joe Sansegraw, Amy Jo Bess, Jerry Randall, Greg Randall, Jamie Cain, John Paul Ward, Lena DeGonia; twenty-six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; special extended family, Carol Melvin, Erica Lacie Johnson, Janiah Like; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Sansegraw, two brothers, George Cresswell and Harry Cresswell.
Mildred was a longtime member of the Potosi United Methodist Church. She worked at the Potosi High School for twenty-five years. Mildred took great pride in always keeping her yard clean and working very hard on her flower garden. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation was held Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 1:40 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Potosi United Methodist Church, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Jerry Compton officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Honoring the Love and Memory of Mildred, serving, as Pallbearers were, Jerry Randall, Greg Randall, David Sansegraw, Doug Sansegraw, Billy Joe Sansegraw, Billy Cain, Matt Minson, Zack Sansegraw, Lucas Berry, A.J. Foncannon Randall, Nick Sansegraw and David Sansegraw, Jr.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
