Margie Sansoucie of Potosi, Missouri was born on Monday, March 15, 1943 in Richwoods, Missouri a daughter of the late, Elsie Mae (Vest) Littrell and William Oscar Littrell. Margie departed this life on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at her residence having reached the age of sixty-six years, nine months and twenty-five days.

Margie was united in marriage to Ervin Patrick Sansoucie on April 23, 1958 in Richwoods, Missouri.

Margie is survived by her husband, Ervin Sansoucie of Potosi, Missouri; two daughters, Trish Mae Shelton and husband, Ed of Potosi, Missouri, Lavonna Jean Goff and husband, Avery of Robertsville, Missouri; two sons, Ervin Patrick Sansoucie, Jr. and wife, Debbie of DeSoto, Missouri, William Charles Sansoucie and wife, JoAnne of St. Clair, Missouri; four sisters, Barbara Williams of Union, Missouri, Betty Bradley and husband, George of DeSoto, Missouri, Laverne Thurmond and husband, Carl of Potosi, Missouri, Rita Grow and husband, Charlie of Potosi, Missouri; six brothers, Willard Littrell and wife, Maxine of Union, Missouri, Herbert Littrell and wife, Sharon of Richwoods, Missouri, Muril Littrell and wife, Donna of Potosi, Missouri, Ray Littrell and wife, Sarah of Blackwell, Missouri; Art Littrell and wife, Barb of Potosi, Missouri, Kenny Littrell and wife, Sally of Blackwell, Missouri; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Tim McCluskey of St. Clair, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by one sister, Opal McCluskey and one brother, David Littrell.

Margie worked as a bookkeeper for the family sawmill for many years. She loved bluegrass music for forty-five years and loved traveling near or far to play with her husband. Margie enjoyed working in her gardens and fishing. She loved being with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, Margie enjoyed and loved life to it’s fullest.

Visitation was held Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, January 15, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Friday, January 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Jerry Brown officiating.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Prospect Cemetery, Lonedell, Missouri. With great honor and lovingly serving as Pallbearers were Willard Littrell, Herbie Littrell, Muril Littrell, Ray Littrell, Art Littrell and Kenny Littrell.

Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri was honored to serve the Family.
