Rose Lee Lorraine Knichel Sesata of Imperial, Missouri was born on Friday, May 15, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on Friday, December 10, 2010 having reached the age of forty years, six months and twenty-five days.
Rose is survived by one daughter, Brittany Rose Sesata of St. Louis, Missouri; one son, Brett Allen Woods and fiancé, Samantha of Arnold, Missouri; one stepson, Brendan Sesata of St. Louis, Missouri; father, Jack Gordon Knichel, Jr. and wife, Connie of Potosi, Missouri; six sisters, Sheila Gough and fiancé, Phillip Jordan of St. Louis, Missouri, Kelly Knichel of Caledonia, Missouri, Sharon Kirby and husband, Dennis of Cadet, Missouri, Tracy Wilkerson and husband, Tim of Potosi, Missouri, Christy Dettling and husband, Andy of Park Hills, Missouri, Michelle Govreau of Park Hills, Missouri; one brother, Claude Knichel of Potosi, Missouri; grandfather, Jack Gordon Knichel, Sr. and wife, Jerry of Panama City, Florida; husband, Dave Sesata of St. Louis, Missouri; also surviving are other relatives and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Charlene (Friet) Knichel, two brothers, Dean Knichel and Jack Knichel III.
Rose enjoyed sewing and doing all types of crafts and scrap booking. She loved to spend time outdoors; swimming and fishing were a couple of her favorite activities. She enjoyed relaxing and watching her favorite television shows, “House”, “Snapped” and “Lifetime”. Rose touched people with her warmth of heart as well as her love for cooking, using her grandmother’s recipes, sharing her delicious meals with family and friends. However, Rose’s greatest pride and joy was derived from the pleasure she received when spending time with her children. She loved life to the fullest leaving behind a loving family and many friends who will miss her wit and wisdom. She was a joy to know and there will be a definite void in the hearts of all who enjoyed the pleasure of her friendship.
Visitation was held Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Johnny Emily officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Redbud Memorial Gardens, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Justin Gough, Claude Knichel, Mickey Rulo, Danny Rulo II, Matt Woods, Donnie McConnell, Jr., Denny Kirby and Dave Sesata.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri 63664.
