Percy Leon Skaggs, Jr.

Percy Skaggs, Jr. of Potosi, Missouri, was born December 26, 1955, in New Florence, Missouri, a son of the late Percy Leon Skaggs, Sr. and Rosetta (Gibson) Skaggs. Percy departed this life Wednesday, July 31, 2019, having reached the age of 63 Years, 7 Months and 5 Days.
Percy is survived by one sister, Jeannie Bridgeman and husband Don of Leadwood, MO and by one brother, Eddie Lawson of Daytona Beach, FL and by many friends.
Percy was a local business owner for many years in the auto repair and oil change service. Percy was a longtime member of the Potosi Elks Lodge where he was very dedicated to its many activities. Percy was a strong supporter of the Elks Christmas Charity and the Elks Backpack Programs. Percy had a great love for being outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His love for fishing brought him to his current home where he spent his last days surrounded by his family, many friends and the beauty of the lake. Percy was always ready to play a game of cards, visit or go for a long road ride. Percy will forever be loved and remembered by all who knew him.
