Donald Lee Snead

Donald Lee Snead of Irondale, Missouri was born on June 18, 1928 in Leadwood, Missouri. A son of the late, Ed Snead and the late, Ruby (Fitzgerald) Snead. Donald departed this life on October 18, 2016 at his residence having reached the age of eighty-eight years and four months.
Donald was united in marriage to Earline Marie Barker on July 24, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri and they were blessed with two sons.
Don is survived by two sons, Dave Snead and wife, Debbie of Bismarck, Missouri; Gary Snead of Clever, Missouri; four grandchildren, Rachel and husband, Brian Jones; Rheanna and husband, Brad Wadlow; Rebecca Snead and John Fortunato; Sara and husband, Jason Marther; five great-grandchildren: Thomas, Briley, Gideon, Delilah and Gianna; also surviving are other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife, Earline Snead and one sister, Loretta Horton.
Don loved being outdoors, going hunting and fishing. He enjoyed visiting with his family and friends. Don will be greatly missed by all.
A Private Graveside Service and Burial was held Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Big River Cemetery, Irondale, Missouri.
Moore Funeral Homes was honored to have been selected to serve Don, his family and friends.
