Ronald Strauser

Ronald Lee Strauser, Sr. of Cadet, Missouri was born on Thursday, June 15, 1950 in St. Louis City, Missouri to the late, Nancy Ada (Myers) Strauser-McAntire and Harry E. Strauser. Ronald departed this life on Monday, July 8, 2013 at his residence having reached the age of sixty-three years and twenty-three days.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Betty Holley of Potosi, Missouri; two sons, Ron Lee Strauser, Jr. of Potosi, Missouri, Ben Strauser and companion Telina DeClue of Cadet, Missouri; two daughters, Christine Yates and companion Rusty Altmann of Arnold, Missouri, Brenda Linville and husband, Chris of Iowa; three brothers, Donald Strauser and wife, Louise of Mineral Point, Missouri, Eddie Strauser of Potosi, Missouri, Larry Joe Strauser of Farmington, Missouri; one sister, Sharon Peck of Potosi, Missouri; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many good friends. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer Marie Strauser and one sister, Audrey Mayfield.

Ronald loved listening to his 8 track tapes, spending time with his very faithful dog named “Dog” and going fishing. He was a top-notch mechanic who traveled all over for Trask Moving and Storage. Ronald enjoyed working on all types of equipment and lawn mowers and mowing grass. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Visitation was held Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Don Strauser officiating. Serving as Pallbearers were Ben Strauser, Ron Strauser, Danny Mayfield, Jason Hale, Rusty Altmann, Bill Farris and Joe Strauser.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the New Diggins Cemetery, Mineral Point, Missouri.
