Ralph Stringer of Potosi, Missouri was born on Friday, December 9, 1949 in Mineral Point, Missouri a son of the late, Mildred Leona (LaChance) Stringer and Herbert Hadley Stringer. Ralph departed this life on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at his residence, having reached the age of sixty-years, four months and eight days.
Ralph was united in marriage to Delana Middleton on May 3, 1969 in Springtown, Missouri and were blessed with two daughters.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Delana Stringer of Potosi, Missouri; two daughters, Lisa Delana Cash and husband, Larry of Potosi, Missouri, Melissa Clements and husband, Michael of Park Hills, Missouri; four grandchildren, Lauren Cash, Clarissa Hamby, Carly Hamby and Molly Clements; three sisters, Maxine O’Neail of Mineral Point, Missouri, Faye Gamble and husband, Kenneth of Mineral Point, Missouri, Sue Suttles and husband, Joe of Mineral Point, Missouri; two brothers, Robert Stringer and wife, Pauline of Naples, Florida, Herbert “Grassy” Stringer and wife, Laverta of Potosi, Missouri; mother-in-law, Lou Etta Middleton of Potosi, Missouri; brother-in-law, Billy Goodson of Mineral Point, Missouri; half sister, Lillian Midgett and husband, Ellis of DeSoto, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Susie Clements, one sister, Janet Goodson, one brother, Jerry Stringer and father-in-law, Elmer Middleton.
Ralph was a well-known car salesman. He enjoyed going to yard sales and making deals. Ralph also enjoyed spending time witnessing about the Lord and attending Pilot Knob Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Pilot Knob, Missouri. Collecting items of all interest, watching Home and Garden T.V. and shooting pool were some of his favorite pastimes. Most of all Ralph loved visiting with his family and friends, who will lovingly miss him.
Visitation was held Monday, April 19, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Kenneth Gamble officiating. Honoring Ralph by serving as pallbearers were: Larry Cash, John Smith, Bryan Suttles, Marty Stringer, Richard Stringer and Tim Middleton.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Sunset Hills Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
