Paul Adrian Thebeau
Paul Thebeau of Cadet, Missouri was born on Saturday, January 19, 1946 in Old Mines, Missouri a son of the late Alice Gertrude (Bourisaw) Thebeau and Nicholas Joseph Thebeau. Paul departed this life on Monday, March 12, 2007 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri having reached sixty-one years, one month and twenty-one days.
Paul was united in marriage to Rita Kay Boyer on September 18, 1971 in Old Mines, Missouri at the St. Joachim Catholic Church and were blessed with two children.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Rita Kay Thebeau of Cadet, Missouri; one daughter, Carla Sue Nash and husband Steven of Cadet, Missouri; one son, Jason Paul Thebeau and wife Lindsey of Potosi, Missouri; two grandchildren, Ethan Nash, Julian Thebeau; two sisters, Mildred Bourisaw of Cadet, Missouri, Norma Jean “Jeannie” Coleman and husband Vincent of Potosi, Missouri; one brother, George Russell Thebeau and wife Ann of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Betty Thebeau of Cadet, Missouri; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Paul was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Anastasia Nash and Alicia Nash, two brothers, Bernard Lee Thebeau and James Norville Thebeau.
Paul was a very active member of the Knights of Columbus Council #5936. He enjoyed all sports, with his favorite being baseball. He loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinals and play baseball with Ethan. Paul enjoyed working in his yard, barbequing and just spending time with Mother Nature. Paul enjoyed keeping his vehicle clean and attending Mass every Sunday.
Visitation was held Tuesday, March 13, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, March 14, 2007 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Fred Thebeau, Mike Thebeau, Kenny Coleman, Jimmy Coleman, Brian Boyer, Jeremy Boyer, John Recar, Nathan Boyer, CJ Boyer, Nicholas Turnbough, Brandon Coffman, Dalton LaRue and Justin Aubuchon.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
