Theresa Smith

   Theresa Marie Smith, daughter of David and Dorothy Daughtery of Old Mines, Missouri, was born on July 1, 1952 in Potosi, Missouri. She passed away on December 2, 2024 at the age of 72 in Foley, Alabama. 

   Theresa is survived by her children Sandra (Kevin) Coffman of Foley, Alabama; Melissa (Jerry) Riehl of St. Charles, Missouri; and Donald Smith Jr. of Potosi, Missouri; Grandchildren, Kody Bourbon, Dustin Eye, Kevin Lee Coffman, Jessica and husband Jacob Reed, Madilyn Staffen, Jamilyn and husband Kameron Richards, Rachel Hedgecorth, Kaitlyn Coffman, Hannah Smith, Landon and Abby Riehl and eight great-grandchildren Hailee, Karter, Kori, Blaine, Cohen, Khloe, Allen, and Krue; and several loving friends and extended family members. 

   She is preceded in death by her father and mother, David and Dorothy Daughtery; sisters, Mary Lou Boyer and Susan Daughtery; niece, Mary “Sissy” Francis Boyer; and her beloved husband of 50 years, Donald “Dickie” Smith. 

   Theresa graduated from St. Joachim in 1970. She was very active in the church and centered her life around her faith and rosary prayers. She loved spending her time camping and listening to music with her husband, Dickie. She enjoyed playing her computer games, watching true crime and paranormal TV shows, taking care of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cooking many delicious foods and baking desserts for her family and friends.
