Tom Misbauer, age 52, of Potosi, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. He was born on January 2, 1973, in St. Louis, Missouri. Tom was a hard-working and dedicated family man who embraced life's challenges with unwavering determination and love.
United in marriage to Beth Ann (White) Misbauer on April 7, 1997, Tom shared a bond with his wife that exemplified partnership and devotion. Together they nurtured a family that brought him immense pride and joy. He is survived by his loving wife, Beth; his daughter, Sierra Hess and her husband, Alexander, of Buffalo, Illinois; his step-daughter, Sarah Hawkins and her husband, Donald, of Fenton, Missouri; and his son, Tim Misbauer.
Tom was especially proud of being a father and deeply cherished the time spent with his grandchildren, Jaxon, Tanner, Ares, and Vannessa. His legacy will surely live on through the love and guidance he provided to them.
In addition to his immediate family, Tom is also survived by three sisters: Michelle "Buffy" Misbauer-Budde and her husband, Ray, of Richwoods, Missouri, Debra Misbauer-Chandler of Collinsville, Illinois, and Yvonne Altman and her husband, Jon, of Illinois; as well as his brother, Joseph Misbauer, of Mineral Point, Missouri.
Tom proudly served in the United States Military, reflecting his commitment to his country and his values. His dedication to hard work and family made an indelible mark on all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Anne (Adams) Misbauer and John Misbauer, whose influence and guidance he carried throughout his life.
Tom will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the profound impact he had on the lives of those around him. His spirit will continue to inspire many as they reflect on the cherished memories shared with him.
