Ruth Mae Tiefenauer (Moyers) of Bismarck, Missouri was born July 22, 1926 in Caledonia, Missouri, a daughter to the late Richard Amon Moyers and Etta Mae (Palmer) Moyers. Ruth departed this life Sunday, August 30, 2020 having reached the age of 94 years, 1 month and 8 days.
On February 8, 1947, in Caledonia, Missouri, Ruth was united in marriage to the late Luther Lonnie Tiefenauer and they were blessed with five children and fifty-eight wonderful years together.
Ruth is survived by her daughters; Linda Radford and husband Roger of Bismarck, Missouri, Brenda Dickey and husband Charles of Farmington, Missouri, Lana Kniess and husband Duwaine of Bismarck, Missouri, Pamela Farrell and husband Mark of Bonne Terre, Missouri; son, Larry Tiefenauer and wife Debbie of Bismarck, Missouri; nineteen grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Shrum; brother, Kenneth William Moyers and half-brother, Norman Moyers.
Ruth appreciated the small things in life, such as planting flowers and bird watching. She loved to take road rides, especially in the Fall, to see the colorful, picturesque landscapes. She kept busy by reading, playing with her pets and embroidering. She was a member of the Red Hats Society, Cedar Creek Club, Bismarck VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a faithful member of the 1st Baptist Church in Bismarck. Above everything, being a mom and a wife was her greatest joy and her memory will be cherished.
