Pearl Elizabeth "Pal" Trokey (Coleman)

Pearl Elizabeth (Coleman) Trokey of Mineral Point, Missouri was born May 26, 1935 in Mineral Point, Missouri, a daughter to the late John J. Coleman and Mary Jane (Bone) Coleman. Pearl departed this life Friday, January 1, 2021 having reached the age of 85 years, 7 months and 6 days.
On December 26, 1954 Pearl was united in marriage to the late Winfield Trokey and they were blessed with thirty six wonderful years together.
Pearl is survived by her son, Rich Trokey and wife Cindy of Marion, Illinois; sisters, Alice (C.D.) Jarvis of Potosi, Missouri, Rosemary Jarvis of Mineral Point, Missouri , Margaret Bowen of Mineral Point, Missouri; grandchildren, Brandon Trokey and fiancé Ashley Lewis of Owensboro, Kentucky, Ryan Trokey of Marion, Illinois and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Pearl was preceded in death by her brothers, Gerard Coleman, Sam Coleman, Lucian Coleman, Kenneth Coleman and Willis Coleman.
Pearl was a friend to all she met and greeted everyone with a warm and welcoming smile. She operated Trokey Grocery in Mineral Point for many years. She loved to play bingo with her friends and spend time with them. She was very active and loved to work around her home, cutting grass and taking care of her vibrant garden. Her flowers were admired by all who passed by her home. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her memory will be cherished by all who loved her.
