Troy Link, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on September 21, 2024 one day after celebrating his 86th birthday, in Potosi, Missouri. Born on September 20, 1938, in Cadet, Missouri, Troy was known for his uplifting spirit and a great sense of humor that could a smile to anyone.

A proud veteran, he served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963, embodying the values of service and dedication that he carried throughout his life. His commitment to helping others was evident to all who knew him. He owned and operated the Anchor Bar and he and Dorothy enjoyed buying and renting houses to those in the area. Troy cherished the time spent visiting with family and neighbors, always welcoming them with a cold drink and a heartfelt laugh.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Link; his sister, Norma Jean Miller of Farmington, MO, dear and special friend Kenny Boyer and his family of Potosi; in addition to many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss his warmth and kindness dearly.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Emma (Head) Link and Melvin Link; his sisters, Juanita Yates and Ruth Evans; and his brothers, Harold, Earl, Arnold, and Vincent Link. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
