William Luke “Billy” Turner, Jr.
William L. “Billy” Turner, Jr. of Potosi, Missouri was born on February 5, 1990 in Crystal City, Missouri and departed this life Saturday, June 14, 2008 having reached the age of eighteen years, four months and nine days.
Billy was united in marriage to Anna M. Kincaid on May 9, 2008.
Billy is survived by his loving wife, Anna Turner of Potosi, Missouri; mother and father, Debra (Brayfield) Turner and William Luke Turner, Sr. of Cadet, Missouri; one sister, Casey Turner of Cadet, Missouri; mother and father-in-law, Carolyn and Randy Kincaid of Cadet, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Catherine Turner of Festus, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Sandra Owens of DeSoto, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Fred and Ruth Ann Brayfield of Park Hills, Missouri; also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends. Billy was preceded in death by grandparents, William Charles Turner and Rube Owens.
Billy enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed taking care of his car and riding his motorcycle. Billy was well known by his many friends as “Guitar Hero”. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by the many lives he has touched.
Visitation was held Monday, June 16, 2008 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Roger Taber officiating. Honoring Billy by serving as pallbearers were: Ron Turner, Jr., Mikie Duncan, Dustin Sanders, Tyron Ives, Aaron Ives and Warren Rogers.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
