Roger Dale Vance
Roger Dale Vance of Belgrade, Missouri was born on Wednesday, September 19, 1973 in Farmington, Missouri and departed this life on Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of thirty-six years, six months and seventeen days.
Roger was united in marriage to Christina Rene Kean on June 19, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Christina Vance of Mineral Point, Missouri; four sons, Peter Joseph Vance of Belgrade, Missouri, Roger Matthew Vance of Belgrade, Missouri, Jacob Eligh Vance of Mineral Point, Missouri, Scott Dale Vance of Mineral Point, Missouri; father, Charles Eligh Vance of Potosi, Missouri; one sister, Angela Faith Vance of Potosi, Missouri; two brothers, Chuck Vance of Potosi, Missouri, Kevin Vance of Potosi, Missouri; mother-in-law, Rhonda and Robert Morgan of Park Hills, Missouri; father-in-law, Lloyd and Michelle Kean of East Prairie, Missouri; special friend, Arville “Pete” DeClue, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Fern (Wilkinson) Vance, one sister, Gayle Elaine Vance and grandparents, Lester and Dorothy Charboneau and John and Mildred Vance.
Roger enjoyed spending time outdoors going camping, barbequing and spending time with family. He loved watching his sons play ball and was a avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Roger will be greatly missed by his many family and friends.
Visitation was held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Charles Williams and Reverend Kelsey Villines officiating.
Honoring Roger by serving as Pallbearers were; Kevin Vance, Ronald Morgan, Kenny Wiggins, Donnie Paul McConnell, Derrick Hill, Matt Hill, Bob Province and Charles Stark.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
