Helen Ann Villmer of Cadet, Missouri was born June 24, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter to the late Raymond Ponzar and Nioma (Harding) Ponzar. Helen departed his life Sunday, January 23, 2022 having reached the age of 88 years, 6 months and 30 days.
On August 16, 1952, Helen was united in marriage to the late Thomas Villmer and together they happily raised their children and shared 60 years. Thomas preceded Helen in death on April 16, 2013.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Peggy Boyer and husband Steve of Mineral Point, Nancy Burnham and husband Don of Hudson, Florida, Diana Watkins and husband Chris of Farmington; son, Thomas Villmer of Cadet; sister, Marion Ponzar; brother, Richard Ponzar and wife Betty; grandchildren, Brent and Debbie Boyer, Brad and Amanda Boyer, Krashawn Massey, Marcie and Mike Lawrence, Anne Villmer, Amy Villmer, Nicole Villmer, Tony Villmer; great grandchildren, Devon, Ethan, Jackson, Brianna, Shelby, Erica, Cole, Zack, Zoe, Dylan, Chole, Hannah, Dakota, Colleen, Taylor; great great grandchildren, Mason, Jack, Royality and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Helen was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth (Harold) Hawkins, Janet “Judy” Ponzar, Kathleen Sellars, June Ponzar, and brother, Raymond “Jack” Ponzar.
Helen loved to be with her family. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend. Her grandchildren brought her great joy and she was their number one fan. She prayed for them every day. She had a kind and caring heart and her presence brought comfort and peace to those around her. She always saw the brought side of any situation and could accomplish anything she set her mind to. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
