Virginia Link, a beloved soul who touched the hearts of many, passed away on April 15, 2024. Born on March 28, 1932, in Mineral Point, Missouri, Virginia was known for her unwavering love for her family and her compassionate nature that extended to all those around her. She will forever be remembered for her kind and caring spirit.
Throughout her life, Virginia found joy in simple pleasures such as collecting angels, reading, tending to her beloved flowers, and embarking on adventures through travel and road rides. Virginia loved the Lord and prayed daily. Her vibrant personality shone brightly through these activities, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice (Lawson) Ramsey and Freeman Ramsey; as well as her sons, James "Jimmy" Link and Jerry Link; her daughter Mary Cook; sisters Kirby Williams, and Rachel Ramsey; and brothers Ervin Ramsey and Tom Ramsey. Although she is no longer with us, Virginia's memory lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her life partner Robert Vandergriff, two daughters Ruthie Tucker (Bill), Rebecca Stoops (Terry), one son Joe Link, sister Millie Vance, brother Wayne Ramsey (Linda), along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of other relatives and friends. A loving matriarch and a cherished companion, Virginia's presence will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Virginia’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in peace knowing that she left behind a profound impact that will be cherished for generations to come.
