Marie A. Walsh of Potosi, Missouri was born on Thursday, May 15, 1919 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Alphonsus J. Walsh and Rose Marie (Parish) Walsh. Marie departed this life on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-six years, seven months, and twenty days.
Ree as she was known by friends is survived by one sister, Sue Geisler of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation was held Friday, January 6, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Friday, January 6, 2006 at 8:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father George Galovich officiating.
Burial took place Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 1:00 PM in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Moberly, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
