George Franklin Walton passed away September 27, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Festus, Missouri.
George was born March 26, 1950 in Pensacola, Florida to Charles and Juanita Walton. Charles was in the Navy there. After Charles retired from the Navy, the family moved back to Mineral Point, Missouri in 1958.
Then in 1978, George moved with his parents to Bushnell, Florida. His father Charles died there in 1983. Then in 2000 George with his mother, Juanita and his companion, Linda Hoff moved back to his sister’s in Mineral Point, Missouri. Since his mother’s death in 2000 George and Linda have lived in Potosi, Missouri.
Moore Funeral Homes of Potosi, Missouri handled the arrangements, George will be buried in a family cemetery next to his parents.
George leaves behind one brother, James Walton and wife, Nancy of Russelville, Arkansas; one sister, Mary Virginia Dickinson and husband, RJ of Mineral Point, Missouri; one step-sister, Vivian Wissman of Sedalia, Missouri, along with many nieces, nephews and his beloved friend and companion, Linda Hoff.
