Eugene Edward Warden

Eugene Warden of Potosi, Missouri was born on Monday, October 21, 1946 in Fletcher, Missouri a son of the late, Orea M. (Stroups) Stutters and Clarence Warden. Eugene departed this life on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of sixty-three years, nine months and twenty-seven days.

Eugene is survived by one daughter, Faye Rector of Palm Bay, Florida; one brother, Bernard Warden and wife, Rita of Mineral Point, Missouri; three grandchildren, Brittney Walling of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Ashley Walling of Palm Bay, Florida, Brandon Rector of Palm Bay, Florida; also surviving are other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Louise Warden, Vernie Bernice Warden and Leona Fay Warden and one brother, Roy Warden.

Eugene enjoyed watching television and could spend hours listening to all types of music. When nieces and nephews would come to visit him they always enjoyed his company and being able to play ball with Eugene. Even with his physical limitations Eugene was an expert in drawing beautiful pictures. His family, many friends and caregivers will fondly remember Eugene.

Visitation was held Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Don Strauser officiating.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
