Carren Sue Winick of Potosi, Missouri was born on Wednesday, August 31, 1949 in Potosi, Missouri to the late, June (Massingill) Riggins and Jess Riggins. Carren departed this life on Friday, May 27, 2011 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of sixty-one years, eight months and twenty-seven days.
Carren was united in marriage to James Woodrow Winick, Jr. on May 20, 1967 in Potosi, Missouri.
Carren is survived by two sisters-in-law, Fern Haworth and husband, Charles of Potosi, Missouri, Dora Jean Coleman and husband, Michael of Potosi, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Marvin Darrel Winick and wife, Brenda of Meredian, Mississippi, Dave Barnes of Memphis, Tennessee; also surviving are other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Carren was preceded in death by her husband, James Winick, Jr. on June 9, 2010 and one brother-in-law, Eddie Winick.
Carren enjoyed the many beautiful gifts of nature and loved her animals. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting and sewing and making her own clothes. Carren will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Don Strauser officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Adams Cemetery, Frankclay, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
