Ardath Wishon of Ballwin, Missouri formerly of Irondale, Missouri was born October 15, 1910 in Peoria, Missouri a daughter of the late Arthur T. Dickey and Mabel (Martin) Dickey. Ardath departed this life Sunday, January 11, 2004 at the Brookview Nursing Center, Maryland Heights, Missouri at the age of Ninety-three Years, Two Months and Twenty-seven Days.
Ardath was united in marriage to Jonathan “Jake” Alva Wishon August 18, 1928 in Collinsville, Illinois. They were blessed to have Two Children born to the union.
Ardath had accepted Christ as her savior and was a member of the Irondale United Methodist Church, Irondale, Missouri.
Ardath is survived by One Son, Robert Wishon and wife Lola of Ballwin, Missouri; One Sister, Dorothy Langley of Farmington, Missouri; One Brother, Ted Dickey and wife Jessie of Irondale, Missouri; Four Grandchildren; Eight Great Grandchildren; One Son-in-Law, Joe F. Evans of St. Louis, Missouri and by many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her Husband, Daughter, Louise Evans, Three Sisters, Pauline Errett, Evelyn Barger and Mary Albert and One Brother, Robert Dickey.
Visitation was held Wednesday, January 14, 2004 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Irondale, Missouri.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Irondale, Missouri with Reverend Daniel Fulbright officiating.
Graveside Services and Burial was in the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery, Caledonia, Missouri.
Services were entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, Irondale, Missouri.
