Obituary for Marjorie Jeannette Wohlschlag (Eye)
Marjorie J. (nee Eye) Wohlschlag, age 94 of Collinsville, IL, born July 25, 1924 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Collinsville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Marjorie married Richard F. Wohlschlag on May 2, 1943 and raised four children. She worked at Kmart for 20 years as well as Pope’s Cafeteria in St. Louis, MO. She enjoyed reading, crafting, gardening, quilting, and loved to play games.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; a son, Wayne Wohlschlag; her parents, Buford C. and Mulissie (nee Phares) Eye; five brothers: Merle, Joe, Allen, Lee and Buford, Jr.; and a sister, Hazel Eye.
She is survived by her children: Richard Wohlschlag of Belgrade, MO, Dennis (Lena) Wohlschlag of Jacksonville, NC, and Sharon (David) Hall of Collinsville, IL; numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; a brother, Ralph (Vicky) Eye of HI; a sister, Virginia (Harvey) Watson of Blackwell, MO; numerous nieces and nephews.
