Galena Wollesen (Boyer)

Galena Wollesen of Cadet, MO was born May 4, 1937 on Fountain Farm in Washington County, MO a daughter to the late Hugh Alfred Boyer and Mary E. (Kay) Boyer. Galena departed this life Friday August 16, 2019 having reached the age of 82 years, 3 months and 12 days
In 1993 Galena was united in marriage to Bob Wollesen of Springfield, IL and they shared 27 wonderful years together.
Galena is survived by her loving husband Bob Wollesen, one step daughter Patricia Wollesen of Bonne Terre, MO, special adopted son, Eddy Robart of Cadet, MO, one sister Jessie Hale of Springfield, MO, two grandchildren Christopher and Josh and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents Galena was preceded in death by one brother Hugh Alford Boyer, Jr, three sisters Della Oliva Boyer, Maria Briix and Hugetta McClendon.
Galena attended Mineral College and took basic classes to get her degree. Galena then went to St. Louis, MO and took AIB classes and also received her broadcasting license and a certification in reality, therapy and was also a licensed massage therapy tech. Galena was also the president of the Legion of Mary and president of the psychic singles and international psychic. Galena sponsored and worked psychic fairs across the United States and used her knowledge to help law enforcement of certain cases. For 13 years Galena held magical weekends for the purpose of greater understanding of the difference of religion and spiritual paths. Galena appeared on television and radio and had numerous articles written about her work and was asked to speak at universities. Galena loved her family and enjoyed taking walks in the woods, drawing the circle of life and listening to the birds and trees and took pride in her Paw Paw French Heritage. Galenas’ love and knowledge will be missed by all who knew her.
