Woody Drennen

     Mark "Woody" Drennen, age 55, passed away on June 1st, 2023. He was born in Potosi, Missouri on July 6th, 1967. He was a hard-working, selfless and devoted family man who put the needs of his loved ones before his own. Anyone who had the honor of knowing him would attest to his gentle and kind-hearted nature.

     Along with being a doting grandfather, one of Woody's favorite hobbies included going hunting and fishing in the great outdoors. Many evenings were spent sitting on the porch with family and friends enjoying life's simple pleasures. Woody would often be found playing with his grandchildren, smiling ear-to-ear as they ran around him.

     Woody had a strong work ethic which he carried over into all aspects of his life. He knew nothing came easy in life so he worked tirelessly to provide for his family until he could physically work no more.

     His passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of those who loved him. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Drennen; daughters, Railean King and husband Justin Andrea Underwood  and husband Justin; father Floyd Terry Drennen; mother, Glenda Sue Drennen; sisters, Wendy Drennen and TJ Coleman; brothers, Darrell Drennen and Beau Williams; five grandchildren, Jacob, Triston, Gavin, Brooklyn and Layton and many other relatives and friends. Woody has been reunited in the heavens with his brother, Patrick Drennen.

     While it is difficult to say goodbye to Woody, we are comforted by the memories we shared with him. May we always remember his gentle spirit, kind heart, and the endless love he had for his family.
